Terms & Conditions

Thank you for wanting to book your next party with Sing & Sparkle! Before we can finalise your booking and start planning your magic, we require you to read and agree to our Terms and Conditions. This is to ensure that your party goes according to plan, and that you fully understand your responsibilities as well as ours. If you have any questions regarding these, please do not hesitate to ask.

Bookings…

  • Any correspondence re your event should be made via Email.  We will contact you a few days before your event to confirm everything is in order and to go over the final details.

  • Our packages are recommended for up to 25 children. We are here to entertain, not childmind. We want every child to feel included in the magic, and not run the risk of our performer feeling overwhelmed entertaining large groups alone. As stated in our Party Packages, larger groups can be accommodated through adding a Royal Assistant. Please update us if numbers of children do change. We will be in be in touch leading up to the party, to confirm final number of attendees.

  • Bookings are accepted within a 10 mile radius of the SO40 post code.  Bookings outside of this area may be accepted, with an additional surcharge to cover petrol and travel time.  Please ask for further details.

  • Please make sure a car parking space is reserved as close as possible to the venue. Your performer will have lots of thingamabobs to carry, so this would be extremely helpful. Any costs for a parking space at a public car park or venue should be paid by yourselves. We will send for reimbursement if required.

  • When booking with us, we can’t guarantee at the stage of enquiry, which Performer will be attending your booking. All of our performers are trained by our Head Princess Emily, to the same highest standard, Sing & Sparkle Princesses have to offer. If you would like to request a specific performer, please add a note to your booking request, and we will do our very best to accommodate this.

Payments…

  • Please be aware that we do not hold dates. Once your booking has been agreed, it is classed as provisional until your 50% deposit has been paid. The full amount of your package must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the event. If full payment has not been received we may have to cancel the booking. Final Payment requests will be sent out via a link on Party Pro Manager to the email you provided.

  • Any payments made are non-refundable. The reason for this is, as soon as your booking is confirmed we will start to buy supplies for your party. If you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to work with you to arrange a suitable alternative date or solution. If we need to cancel the booking for any reason, any fees paid will be refunded in full.

Us…

  • We will arrive, in character, 5 minutes before the time we agreed. Then we will stay for the length of package that you have booked, and once finished, allow 5 minutes to pack up our equipment, before exiting the venue. We will contact you if for any reason we are running late, due to reasons out of our control and as we arrive at the venue.  Occasionally we might ask for assistance with equipment, especially if it is raining. We recommend you allow 15 minutes for all children to arrive, before your booking with us starts. This allows for latecomers – we would hate them to miss any of the magic!

  • Any small sweets we use as prizes are all free from allergens and vegan friendly.  Please let us know on the day if any children are not allowed to have these.

  • We must not be left alone with the children at any time, even though we (and a Royal Assistant if required) have a DBS Certificate and Public Liability Insurance. Please make sure that there is suitable adult supervision at all times.

  • Although the activities will be agreed in advance with you, it may be necessary for us to alter these on the day due to environmental issues, children’s attention spans, behaviour etc.  If you are also having a bouncy castle at your event, we respectfully ask for this to be deflated during our visit. It is very hard for us to compete with a Bouncy Castle when Singing!

Your Responsibilities…

  • If your party is outside please make sure there is a covered area for us to perform (if forecast looks wet or sunny), such as a gazebo or parasol. This is as much for the children, as it is for us (especially in the Summer Heat). Sadly our beautiful costumes and wigs do not like the wonderful British Wet Weather!

  • Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.  If at any point we don’t feel safe, we will leave and refunds will not be given.

  • We reserve the right to charge if any damage occurs to our costumes or equipment, due to negligence.

  • During our bookings, a bubble machine may be used.  Please let us know in advance, if these are not permitted in your home/venue.

  • It is the organisers responsibility to ensure the children can have their photos taken, which may be used in future publicity or social media.  Please let us know in advance, if there are any children who cannot be included in photos for these reasons.  We are more than happy for you to share any photos or videos you take, please just make sure to tag Sing & Sparkle.

  • Please make us aware of any changes to your booking with as much notice as possible. Last minute Package or Character changes may be accepted, but only if we have availability, and enough themed supplies for the event.
